Betty Rajabi

Hair Stylist and Color Specialist, Owner

Styling and coloring hair has always been one of my passions. I have 15 years of experience in the hair industry and I am licensed to work in Europe and America with Cuts-Colors-Perms and styling skills. I have received my education in  hair cutting and styling from the Ecole Internationale de coiffure des Evelines in France, Jacque Dessange Salon Training in Lille, Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco. I have also been trained in Redkeen, Aveda, and the Framessi coloring technique. I speak three languages and enjoy my profession. I have always planned to have my own salon and that dream has come true. La Nana now includes extensive spa services, which makes me very happy to provide for our clients.

I enjoy working with people and connecting to their beauty. It makes me happy to see how customers feel with their new look after leaving my salon and how relaxed and healthy they feel when they are getting a body massage or skin care treatment in my spa.

We hope La Nana will become your salon for all your needs. Our staff at La Nana is made up of highly trained professionals in their field

Krislyn Gross

Senior Hair stylist

I graduated from Paris beauty college in 2004. Right after passing the test to get my Cosmetology license I joined the team at Tribez salon in Danville as a student in their intern program. I spent a year of assisting and going through their intense training program. I eventually made my way to a senior stylist and have been doing hair ever since. I started working at La Nana a few months ago and I am enjoying it. I love both haircutting and color.

Amanda Bhachu

Hair stylist (new talent)

I have been around the beauty industry for most of my life, I am a second generation beauty technician, I started working for tips by helping out at a local salon when I was only twelve years old, and it was then when I knew that this industry was the right one for me! I received my license at an early age because I could not wait to start working. I have also had training with Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco. I love how it feels to see a client sit back, relax and leave my chair feeling beautiful. I enjoy what I do, and I am very passionate about my work. I hope to connect with you soon.

Julia Kesel

Aesthetician

My journey in the beauty and skincare fields began more than 17 years ago, upon graduating from the International School of Cosmetology, Moscow, Russia. In the US, I was personally hand-picked and trained by R.N. Polina Gerardo and Nona Daron, who have two generations of European skincare experience, and are the co-founders of Flying Beauticians and Acne Center in San Francisco and Mill Valley – one of the top 20 salons in the country. While at Flying Beauticians, and being part of a team of highly skilled estheticians, I was invited to work for private events at Neiman Marcus.

My vast experience has enabled me to offer the fi nest skincare treatments. I combine European techniques and use only the best products available. Upon meeting with you, I will recommend the right facial for your skin as well as a product regimen that you can follow at home (please note that deep pore cleansing extractions is a large part of my facials, unless otherwise specified).

Eyebrow design and bikini waxes have also long been one of my specialties. With a gentle touch, I will make sure that every treatment is smooth, quick, and easy for you.

Please feel free to schedule a free consultation with me. I look forward to working and sharing my journey with you at La Nana.

Gillian Perkins

Massage Therapist

Ever since I can remember I have always had a passion for massage. It must have started as a young girl with my mother's foot and shoulder rubs which were frequent and in high demand and continued through high school where I would dedicate my lunch hour to massage friends who were in need. In 2007 I followed my passion for massage to the National Holistic Institute, a one year intensive 720 hour program in Emeryville, Ca. I graduated with honors as a Massage Therapist and Health Educator specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Therapy, Shiatsu, Pregnancy, and Reflexology. There is something so rewarding about helping a client achieve complete body awareness, relaxation, and relief. I look forward to sharing my passion and working with you at La Nana.
